La Esperanza

It starts in Las Raices with a continuous climb along cliffs facing the east side of the island and heading up to Las Laguneta on the trail Los Ovejeros, passing through Fayal. The descending part of the route passes the west face of the cliff going up & down some valleys back to the starting point.This route is in a forest area with the Canary pine and eucalyptus tree. The trails are therefore pines needle trails. This means some parts can be rather technical and slippery when wet. From the higher parts of the route there are magnificent views of the Teide.

Overall this route has very nice vegetation and is in general runnable. The remarkable thing about this route is that one can see both sides of the island and the beautiful Teide.
