Playa Quemada - Playa Blanca | Hello Canary Islands

This route is situated in the southern part of Lanzarote. It is a run along the coastline with easy trails next to the Atlantic Ocean, where the ocean meets the trail.

Starting from Playa Quemada the route takes you along the coastal trails arriving at Playa Blanca. Some parts of the route are a bit more technical, running along rocky trails. However, most of the route is on open, non-technical dirt trails. Just before arriving in Playa Blanca you pass the famous Papagayo beach with clear waters and beautiful views of Fuerteventura.

This is a fantastic run to do in the morning, preferably at sunrise before it gets too hot. You don't want to miss the zigzag path at the beginning of the trail, the secret garden or running along Papagayo beach.
