The Toasts of Pérez Minik

The Auditorio de Adeje presents "The Toasts of Pérez Minik", a theatrical piece that reconstructs a pivotal moment in the life of writer and literary critic Domingo Pérez Minik. The play is based on a true event: his release from the Fyffes concentration camp in Tenerife on December 4, 1936. In an intimate and symbolically rich atmosphere, we follow the protagonist as he enters a dark bar and raises a glass—to life, to memory, and to survival. A poetic reflection on trauma, freedom, and the power of words in the face of oblivion.
