The Parade of la Pandorga y los Caballitos de Fuego

The Parade of La Pandorga and Los Caballitos de Fuego is one of the most anticipated events within the Fiestas del Santísimo Cristo de La Laguna. La Pandorga is a nighttime procession featuring children and adults who carry paper lanterns, called "pandorgas," in various shapes and bright colors. These lanterns are handcrafted and illuminated from within by candles or lights, creating a charming visual spectacle. Los Caballitos de Fuego, on the other hand, are wooden structures decorated with horse heads that participants carry on their shoulders. These "little fire horses" are loaded with fireworks that are ignited as the bearers run and dance through the streets, creating a magical atmosphere.
