Sonate a quattro

The Auditorio de Tenerife, as part of its Chamber Music Series, presents Ensemble Diderot, a Parisian ensemble specializing in Baroque music performed on period instruments. On this occasion, they will explore the repertoire of the sonata for four, a key collection of works in musical evolution, marking the transition between the Baroque ensemble sonata and the emergence of the string quartet. Led by Johannes Pramsohler, the ensemble has been awarded the ICMA 2024 prize for Best Baroque Instrumental Recording for their album Sonate a quattro.
