Sara Porpino in concert

The Tensamba Festival presents a special evening at the Teatro El Sauzal with Sara Porpino, a talented singer, songwriter, and percussionist from the Sertão of Bahia. Known also as Pazsarinho, Sara enchants with her bird-like whistles and powerful voice. After six years exploring the cultures of Latin America and Brazil, she has blended her nordestine roots with Latin American rhythms in her project "Cocada da Pazsarinho", celebrated in honor of the nordestine coconut.
