Maritime-Terrestrial Procession of Ntra. Señora del Carmen and San Telmo

On July 16th, Puerto de la Cruz will celebrate the Maritime-Terrestrial Procession of Our Lady of Carmen and San Telmo, one of the most anticipated events of the Grandes Fiestas del Puerto de la Cruz. This traditional procession, which combines a journey by land and sea, honors the patron saint of fishermen and gathers a multitude of faithful and visitors. The image of the Virgin of Carmen will be carried through the streets of the city to the pier, where she will be embarked and paraded around the bay, followed by a fleet of decorated boats. This emotional celebration is characterized by the devotion, music, and fervor of the attendees, who accompany the Virgin on her journey, creating a unique and festive atmosphere.
