The Auditorio de Tenerife presents Carcaça by Marco da Silva Ferreira's company, a performance where dance explores collective identity, memory, and cultural heritage. With choreography beginning in a footwork game inspired by club rhythms and cyphers, the piece transforms into a rebellious, carnivalesque body represented by ten dancers investigating their collective identity through intuitive movement. Accompanied by live percussion and electronic music, Carcaça proposes a fusion of past and present, questioning the crystallization of traditions and exploring the role of memory and identity in building a community.
