La Fosa

El Centro de Cultura y Recreo 25 de abril presents La Fosa, a play by Pedro Carrasco that tells the story of five characters bound by a tragic fate: a mass grave. A doctor, a farmer, a schoolteacher's son, and two servants, one of them a teenager, "come back to life" in this underground space after being executed. Trapped in this place, each one reveals fragments of their past life, desperately searching for an answer to the last question they asked before dying: Why? The play explores the human condition and the search for meaning amidst tragedy.
