Exposición temporal: We love you too

La Casa de Piedra hosts the exhibition Roberta Marrero: We Love You Too, a showcase that celebrates the life and work of this influential artist born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. An essential figure in transgender culture, Roberta Marrero was a trans woman, artist, poet, writer, and LGBTIQA+ icon. Her career began as a DJ and evolved into activism and literary creation, establishing her as a role model for her work advocating for freedom and solidarity. In 2022, the Government of the Canary Islands dedicated the Day of Women Writers to her in recognition of her significant literary contributions. The exhibition, organized by the LGBTI Association Diversas and the Red Asterisco in collaboration with the Garachico City Council, offers an in-depth look at her cultural and artistic legacy.
