El Pico Pilgrim

El Pico Pilgrim, held in the neighborhood of Tejina, Tenerife, is a traditional festivity in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers. This celebration stands out for its evening character and the participation of numerous decorated carts and wagons, accompanied by folk groups and "parrandas" that parade through the neighborhood streets. The festivities begin with a mass at the El Pico church, followed by a procession and the romería, where attendees, dressed in traditional costumes, enjoy music, dancing, and local gastronomy, creating a festive and communal atmosphere.
