Destierra

The Adeje Auditorium presents "DesTierra," a multidisciplinary performance that blends music, dance, theater, and animation to explore Miguel de Unamuno's exile in Fuerteventura. Inspired by his works, such as From Fuerteventura to Paris and Saint Manuel Bueno, Martyr, the play portrays Unamuno's evolving view of the island, moving from seeing it as a barren land to a place of poetic beauty. Origami and letters play a significant role in the narrative, highlighting moments of introspection and literary creation.
