Chucho in concert

Otoño Cultural presents Chucho, one of the most influential bands in Spanish alternative pop. Formed by Fernando Alfaro, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, and Javier Fernández Milla after the breakup of Surfin' Bichos in the 1990s, Chucho debuted with a dark, punk EP in 1995. Their first album, ‘78’ (1997), combined extreme and emotional pop, establishing Alfaro as a distinctive songwriter. The band achieved its peak popularity with ‘Tejido de felicidad’ (1999) and continued with ‘Los Diarios de Petróleo’ (2001) and ‘Koniec’ (2004) before their breakup in 2005. After a long hiatus, Chucho returned in 2016 with ‘Los Años Luz’ and more recently with ‘Corazón roto y brillante’ (2020), exploring themes of heartbreak and hope with a renewed production. This event at Otoño Cultural will be an excellent opportunity to enjoy their musical evolution and emotive performance.
