Tenerife hosts the International Music Festival of the Canary Islands, an event that celebrates the rich creative diversity of music throughout history. The festival will feature over 100 works spanning from the 18th century to the present day, performed by more than a thousand musicians from around the world. During the festival, 61 concerts will be held across 21 venues distributed throughout the eight islands, with the participation of major orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra from London, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the NDR Radiophilharmonie from Hannover, the Salzburg Camerata, the Munich Philharmonic, and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, alongside the local orchestras, the Gran Canaria Philharmonic and the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. The event will also feature iconic figures such as pianist Grigory Sokolov and the Vienna Boys' Choir. A highlight of this edition will be the violin, with performances by virtuosos such as Pinchas Zukerman, Hilary Hahn, Midori, Leonidas Kavakos, María Dueñas, and Lisa Batiashvilli.
