The 19th Canary Islands Festival of Religious Music offers a program focused on sacred repertoire. This year, the festival commemorates the 300th anniversary of Alessandro Scarlatti with the work Infirmata vulnerata, which will be performed on various islands across the archipelago. Additionally, the world premiere of Statim Gallus Cantavit by Tomás Marco will take place, along with Messa di Gloria by Giacomo Puccini. The festival also includes performances of Spiritual Songs and Arias by Johann Sebastian Bach and Officium Defunctorum by Tomás Luis de Victoria. Concerts will be held in various churches and auditoriums across the islands, offering the public an accessible and intimate artistic experience.
