Bestialón de Tejina

The Tejina Festivities host the thrilling Bestialón event, a sports competition consisting of four stages that challenge participants across various disciplines. The event can be competed in two formats: individual or team (each team must have four participants, with one for each stage). The first stage is a swimming event that starts at El Charcón (Playa de Jover) and ends in the area below the Club Náutico de Jover, covering a total distance of 220 meters (190 meters swimming and 30 meters running). The second stage is a running race that begins in the same area of the Club Náutico, climbs through several streets and paths, and finishes back in the area below the Club Náutico, with a distance of 3,870 meters. The third stage is a cycling race starting from the area below the Club Náutico and finishing at the Iglesia del Pico, spanning 4,750 meters. The final stage is a run that starts at the Iglesia del Pico and ends at the intersection of Calle Magdalena Santos, below the Plaza de la Iglesia de Tejina, covering 4,440 meters. Completing all four stages totals a distance of 13,260 meters. The Bestialón offers challenges for athletes in both individual and team categories, providing an intense and varied experience within the festive framework of Tejina.
