The Festival of Performing Arts in Lanzarote presents Es un tango la vida: Tango, Masculine Singular. A show that explores the essence of tango, where traditionally the man has been the leader, writing songs and guiding steps. However, this piece shifts the focus to the feminine, highlighting emotion, family, sensuality, and the land—elements that have breathed life into tango since its birth in the Río de la Plata. With a combination of voice, dance, piano, and bandoneón, Es un tango la vida invites us to immerse ourselves in the emotions that have sustained and transformed this passionate art form.
