Hannah Collins: Entre Volcanes

El Almacén presents "Entre volcanes", an exhibition by Hannah Collins, curated by Alicia Chillida for the XII Biennial of Lanzarote. This project connects Mexico's Paricutín volcano with the unique volcanic nature of the Canary Islands, exploring ecology, sustainability, and the future of the Earth. Through images, texts, and an approach blending art and anthropology, the work reflects on the mythical significance of fire and sky observation, linking the memory of the 1943 Paricutín eruption with global volcanology and the humanized perception of volcanoes in local culture.
