Easter - Arrecife

In Arrecife, every year the procession of the Lord of the Burrita takes place with which officially they begin the celebrations of Holy Week. After the Mass, which is held on Palm Sunday in the church of San Ginés, the image of the Lord of the Burrita comes out in procession carried by his parishioners through the streets of the city to the sound of the songs of the devotees who accompany the march. The celebrations continue on Holy Thursday with the Way of the Cross and on Good Friday with more processions, the Holy Burial and Solitude.
