Canary Islands Festival of Religious Music

The Church of Nuestra Señora de Bonanza in El Paso, La Palma, will host a concert titled Spiritual Songs and Arias, as part of the XIX Canary Islands Religious Music Festival. This event will be dedicated to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, featuring pieces such as Komm, süßer Tod (Come, Sweet Death) and Schlummert ein (Sleep, Weary Eyes). Soprano Olalla Alemán, accompanied by harpsichordist Luis Antonio González and the ensemble Los Músicos de Su Alteza, will perform these compositions, which embody Bach’s characteristic spirituality and emotional depth.
