Festivity of the Virgin of Guadalupe

The Chapel of Puntallana houses the Virgin of Guadalupe, patron saint of the island of La Gomera. Her feast day is celebrated on the Monday following the first Saturday of October.
Every five years, its Descent from Puntallana to San Sebastián -the only one in the Canary Islands that takes place by sea- celebrates the insular devotion for the sacred image.
