Tourist Day

As part of the Fiesta del Almendro, the Tourist Day is celebrated, showcasing Canarian culture and identity with a wide variety of traditional dishes, such as garbanzada, watercress stew, chicharrones, wrinkled potatoes, and traditional desserts, offered by local associations. The streets come alive with folk music, demonstrations of Canarian Wrestling, Shepherd's Leap, and Silbo Gomero, creating an atmosphere rich in traditions. Highlights include the "Tambores" show by the Añate group, "Serendipia" by Araguaney, the presentation of the Almendro de Plata award, and a final dance with Grupo Bomba and Orquesta Melody.
