Descripción del evento
The Pilgrim of Moya is a traditional festival held annually in honor of San Antonio de Padua, one of the patron saints of the municipality. Since the 1960s, locals have participated in this tradition by offering the saint food and products from the year's harvest. During the celebration, the streets of Moya come alive with music and dance, as parrandas fill the air with the sounds of timples, guitars, and drums. At the end of the romería, the traditional baile de taifas takes place at the entrance of the church. Attendees are encouraged to wear typical or traditional Canarian attire to fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the festivity.
