05 October 2025
On the first Sunday of October, Valleseco celebrates one of its most important festivals in honor of Our Lady of the Incarnation, coinciding with the Apple Festival. During this celebration, residents from all neighborhoods participate in a pilgrimage with their carts and traditional costumes, offering the Virgin the fruits of the land. Declared a Regional Tourist Interest Festival in 2011 by the Government of the Canary Islands, this event stands out for its rich tradition and diverse activities. The apple, a symbol of Valleseco, plays a central role in the festivities, including the production of Gran Valle Cider, a contest for dishes made with apples, and cider tastings. Among the most emblematic activities are the pilgrimage on the eve of the main day, a craft fair featuring various local artisans, and the Abenechara Folkloric Gathering, which promotes cultural exchange between the islands and the dissemination of Canarian traditions.
