Mata Hari's Life

The Teatro Víctor Jara presents Mata Hari, a play that explores the life of Margaretha Geertruida Zelle, better known as Mata Hari. A figure shrouded in mystery, her story has been defined by the femme fatale archetype and her role as a spy during World War I. From a young age, she defied societal norms and learned to use her charisma to achieve what she desired in a male-dominated world. Her life was filled with challenges, from her father's abandonment to her expulsion from school for a romance with the headmaster.
