Macaronesia 1975-2025

The Casa de Colón presents the exhibition Macaronesia 1975-2025, a photographic showcase that captures the profound political, social, economic, and cultural changes that have shaped the archipelagos of Cabo Verde, Canarias, Madeira, and Azores over the past 50 years. Through 146 images, the exhibition offers a visual journey through the evolution of these regions, from the transition from dictatorships to autonomies or independent states, to the transformation of their economies and societies.
