La rama de Marmolejo

The celebration of La Rama is a festival full of tradition and joy. Starting in Majadillas, the procession is enlivened by the neighborhood's papagüevos and the music of the Las Nieves de Agaete band, passing through various streets until reaching the El Palomar junction, where the branch is collected. The return, filled with dance and excitement, ends at the Javi Álamo court. There, attendees enjoy a Gran Canarian Sancocho featuring hard-boiled eggs, salted fish, wrinkled potatoes, pellas de gofio, Ron Arehucas, and wine. The day concludes with music by DJ Aitami, a fireworks display, and an atmosphere brimming with tradition and celebration.
