Francia - Masdanza

Teatro Cuyás hosts MASDANZA, the International Contemporary Dance Festival of the Canary Islands, founded in 1996 by dancer and choreographer Natalia Medina. Recognized for its excellence with the EFFE Quality Seal and nominated for the Best European Dance Festival Award, MASDANZA is dedicated to promoting contemporary dance in the Canary Islands and serving as a platform for local, national, and international creators. The festival views dance as a tool to promote participation, inclusion, integration, tolerance, and diversity. This edition features various international works that explore different aspects of contemporary dance, enriching the cultural experience and fostering artistic exchange.
