First Dip of the Summer

The Primer Margullo del Verano is a non-competitive swimming event that marks the start of the summer sports activities in Agüimes. Held in the bay of Playa de Arinaga, the event features a course of approximately 500 meters, from El Muelle to the Los Barquillos area. Designed to enjoy the sea and encourage participation, this aquatic gathering is part of the sports program organized in the municipality during the summer months.
