Fiestas Patronales de Aldea Blanca

The Patron Saint Festivities of Aldea Blanca, in honour of the Virgen de Fátima, will be held from the 10th to the 19th of May. The festivities begin with the opening speech by Manolo Acosta, from the Agrupación Folclórica Grupo Bejeque, followed by a night of Canarian music. A highlight is the Pilgrimage Ofrenda on the 11th of May, with traditional music and decorated carts, culminating with a verbena (street party) by Yeray Socorro. On the 12th, the Bajada de la Cal, an event full of joy and flour, is held. Among the scheduled events are masses, processions, verbenas, and activities for all ages, including a Encuentro de Solistas and a clay pigeon shooting championship, all in a festive atmosphere with live music until the closing with fireworks and the verbena de amanecida.
