Festival del Sur

The Festival del Sur: Three Continents Theater Encounter returns this year with a diverse program to be held at the Teatro Auditorio Agüimes, the Teatro Municipal, the Plaza del Rosario in Agüimes casco, the Teatro Cruce de Culturas in Cruce de Arinaga, and the Caseta del Muelle in Arinaga. Organized annually by the Ayuntamiento de Agüimes and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the festival will feature companies from Canarias, Murcia, Madrid, Valencia, Argentina, Equatorial Guinea, and Ivory Coast, presenting a range of theater, clown, and dance performances for all audiences. Additionally, the festival will address the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip through talks and panel discussions aimed at students and the general public.
