Chiquero Trail

The Municipality of Villa de Ingenio, together with the mountain clubs Tolisco, Haguayan, and Atinge, organizes the Chiquero Trail, a mountain race featuring 20 km and 11 km routes, along with a hiking route and a canicross category. Starting from Plaza de La Candelaria, the event brings together runners and trail enthusiasts in a challenge that rewards the best times in various categories, including special recognition for the first resident of the municipality to cross the finish line.
