Acantha Lang in concert

The Municipal Theater Juan Ramón Jiménez presents Acantha Lang, a talented singer from New Orleans. Known for her prodigious voice, she stood out at the Harlem Grella in New York and gained notoriety in London with The Box Club. Her debut album, "Beautiful Dreams," reached third place on the UK jazz and blues charts and earned her a Grammy nomination as a songwriter. In her first performance in Telde, Acantha will be accompanied by six musicians, performing tracks from her album and soul classics, influenced by legends like Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone.
