Kitefest International Kite Festival

The International Kite Festival of Corralejo, initiated in 1987 by a group of kite flying enthusiasts, has established itself as a prominent event that brings together professionals and amateurs in the unique setting of the Corralejo Dunes. This Protected Natural Area, with its frequent and strong winds, provides the ideal conditions for hosting such a festival. In recent years, the festival has expanded its activities to include a special event on Thursdays at La Concha beach in El Cotillo, where attendees can enjoy kite displays in a stunning coastal environment.
