Exhibition: “Emiliano Hernández: A Round-Trip Artist”

The Centro de Arte Juan Ismael presents the exhibition “Emiliano Hernández, A Round-Trip Artist”, a tribute to the work of Canarian sculptor Emiliano Hernández García through the lens of photographer Celibel Fernández Arocha. The exhibition explores the career of this artist, born in Teguise, Lanzarote, who, after training with César Manrique and studying Fine Arts in Madrid, emigrated to America, eventually settling in Colombia, where he created most of his work. In 1999, his return to Fuerteventura allowed him to connect with the local artistic scene, leaving his mark on the Sculpture Park of Puerto del Rosario and various towns across the island.
