Diving in a spectacular setting
This dive brings you to hardened lava streams and a huge, unique basalt column. On the south-facing wall, the volcanic formations known as columnar jointing can be seen more clearly.
The Amphitheatre
The Atlándia reef also offers a beautiful landscape of pinnacles of solidified volcanic lava in what is called the Amphitheatre. The name comes from the multiple erosions and landslides over time that have formed what resembles an amphitheatre. At this dive site we can swim with moray eels and even anemones.
