Crystal clear water for diving across from Puerto del Carmen
Veril de Playa is the star diving spot on the island of Lanzarote. Just across from the southern tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen is the big sloping sand platform which ends in a cliff which goes from 15 to 40 metres in depth and which has shelves, caves and small hollows. This coast of crystal clear and usually calm waters is easily accessible on foot and the diver can choose various options depending on the group involved, experience and the day’s itinerary.
