Beautiful swimming pools designed by César Manrique

Lago Martiánez is a leisure complex in Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of Tenerife. Boasting unparalleled views of the sea and Mount Teide, its facilities include a large artificial lake surrounded by emerald pools, manicured gardens, terraces and restaurants. The park was designed in the mid-seventies by renowned local artist César Manrique from Lanzarote, who used elements of traditional Canarian architecture and native flora to create the complex.

Entertainment for the whole family by the sea

Declared a site of cultural interest under the Historic Garden category, Lago Martiánez offers entertainment for people of all ages. There are four swimming pools for adults and three for children, all of which are surrounded by sunbathing areas equipped with sun beds and parasols. The complex includes several terraces, kiosks, restaurants and, since 2006, a casino; the perfect complements to a day of sun and sea.

Use the facilities responsibly, following the centre guidelines.
Use the waste-paper baskets and, insofar as possible, separate and place your recycling waste in the appropriate containers. Do not throw cigarettes butts on the ground.
Respect and look after the different items of public furniture (information panels, railings, seats, lighting, etc.).
